Rules and Policies

Sparta Gymnastics classes are limited to 7 students per coach. In most cases, at 8 students an additional instructor will join the class. We reserve the right to decide at which point the additional coach will participate.

It consists of an Annual Membership Fee of $38 and the full (or prorated, if enrolled later) fees for the month due with the registration. The Membership Fee is a mandatory charge and must be renewed yearly, as long as the student is enrolled. Once your child started classes, no refunds are available. We also collect a "last month" deposit that equals one month's fees. (FORMS)

Monthly fees are based on a four-week month and are due by the 1st of each month. If tuition is paid after the fifth of the month, a $15.00 late fee will be assessed. If the tuition and late fees are not paid by your child’s second class, s/he will not be allowed to participate.
There is a $25 charge on all returned checks.

Sparta Gymnastics reserves the right to raise fees without notice.
We take checks, cash, and credit cards. Please make checks payable to SPARTA GYMNASTICS.

PLEASE check regularly the calendar on the “Parent Info” board for Sparta Gymnastics’ CLOSING DATES, or click this link to see the upcoming dates.

If you register more than one child from your family, you will receive a 10% sibling discount for the 2nd child and every child after (% off equal or lesser value)
If you pay for 3 months in advance, you will receive a 10% discount off the third month’s fee; if you pay for 6 months - 25% discount of the last month’s fees.

You must inform us in advance if you intend to drop the program. If you do not notify us and we hold your spot in a class, you are responsible for payments until proper notice is given. If no payment and no notice is received, your last month deposit will be applied as a payment. There are no refunds for the unused part of the month if you drop the program prematurely unless you have a note from a doctor that your child is hurt and cannot participate in gymnastics classes.

  • There are no refunds for missed classes. We honor one courtesy make-up per month for children who have missed classes due to illness and two vacation make-ups per calendar year.
  • You MUST have reported the absence to the office (additional make-ups will require a doctor’s note).
  • You MUST schedule the make-ups in advance through the office. No make-ups in the first week of the month, unless the month was pre-paid;
  • You must be currently enrolled in the Sparta Gymnastics program;
  • You must be financially current (if you haven’t paid for the current month yet, you may not schedule any make-ups for this or the previous month);
  • You have 3 weeks AFTER the absence in which to schedule your make-ups-if you miss it, you forfeit the make-up time;
  • If you schedule a make-up and do not attend, you will forfeit it unless you have called a day prior to that class to cancel it;
  • If you have paid for a class in the current month you MAY NOT do a make-up class the following month in place of tuition.
